Certain security facilities allow for the use of solar systems. You can prevent the risk of a system failure by combining an EFOY Pro with a photovoltaic system. This hybrid arrangement of fuel cell and solar cell combines the best of both technologies.
If the weather is good, the solar cell provides the power.
If the weather is good, only the solar module generates electricity in a fuel/solar cell hybrid configuration. The EFOY Pro remains in standby mode and solar generation keeps fuel consumption low.
In bad weather, darkness, or winter, the fuel cell kicks in.
Solar cells will not deliver enough current to batteries in bad weather and low-sunlight months resulting in voltage drops. Once the battery level dips below a certain threshold, the fuel cell begins working automatically and recharges the battery. Once the battery is fully charged the fuel cell will return to stand-by mode automatically.
Cost-effective Operation
A fuel/solar cell hybrid configuration is a cost effective solution to the low sunlight dilemma. The SFC EFOY Fuel Cell allows the user to generate continuous power without frequent battery recharging, reducing labor and material costs. This configuration is also a smaller, lighter-weight alternative to banks of batteries, saving you real estate space. In addition, the SFC EFOY Fuel Cell runs on an eco-safe fuel, methanol, which is a high-density energy source.
