Throughout the US and all of the world there are hundreds of Seismic Stations needing power for long periods of time. These stations are many times accessible only by helicopter so minimizing battery weight and logistics is critical. Many of these stations also use solar panels or small wind turbines combined with battery banks. The EFOY Pro Fuel Cell is now being used in these hybrid configurations or standalone to provide this power reliably.
Many times these configuartions include Seismic, GPS and Weather components.
When the sun doesn't shine enough to keep battery configurations powered, important data is lost and this is where the EFOY Pro could serve as a backup to solar to provide highly reliable power that automatically is generated when needed.
Seismic and Weather configurations are also in very cold environments. Alaska, the Artic, Antartica, all have stations needing remote power and minimum site visits.
